About Lucretia Aleron...
Lucretia Aleron is a small-town girl who is quite fond of books, second-hand stores (and second-hand bookstores!), music, research, anime and manga, movies, fan-fiction, language and nuance, writing, philosophy, animals, all things Japanese, yoga, Chinese food, and pretty boys. She also especially fancies piercings, tattoos, leather, and smokers. She thoroughly enjoys making things with her hands and has a strange perspective on art. She has done everything from crocheting to latch-hooking, tie-dying to batiking, jewelry making and repair to basketry, origami to folded-star ornaments, and screen-printing to (limited) decor. Of course, some of those things have turned out much better than others, but that is neither here nor there.
You might say she has a strange sense of humor --and she would agree. It's rare that she is found without a some sort of paper and a pen, hurriedly scribbling down an idea for a plot or a character or something else! In fact, she normally can be found working at a computer, scribbling in a notebook, humming or singing along with whatever song is stuck in her head, reading a book from one of her diverse areas of interest, or attempting to do all four at once. While she is rather young, she has tried many, many new things and had some very diverse experiences. She has torn down walls in a with a crowbar, survived a house-fire, walked through streets lined with open sewers, lived in a dorm, taught crochet and knitting to people who couldn't understand her, walked through hospitals in a third-world country, given speeches, worked in an office, and taught small children to remember what they have because others don't have it. What she lacks in worldly experience, she tries to make up for with a can-do attitude, a willingness to try new things, a strong work-ethic, and plenty of youthful exuberance. She still lives in the house she grew up with in rural Indiana with her mother, two of her siblings, and her cat Dante, who always graces her with his presence when she's writing --or indulging in an afternoon nap. Lucretia would be delighted to hear from you --she always enjoys hearing from readers and meeting new people! Feel free to send her an email, catch up with her on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, or ask your her your own questions here! Lucretia Answers Your Questions!
Well, you asked the questions. Here are your answers!
Question: What is your favorite film?
Submitted by: Kist
Well, Kist, my current favorite movie is probably either "The Princess Bride" or "When Harry Met Sally...". Like I said, I'm a hopeless romantic! And the love in those films is portrayed so wonderfully that they both still choke me up in the same parts every single time! Of course, they also make me laugh hysterically, as well.
Thanks for your question!

Question: How did you get started writing gay erotica, anyway?
Submitted by: Honoria
I know this answer is probably a lot less than you hoped it would be... but I got started with fan-fiction in high school. Well, a combination of fan-fiction and yaoi (gay erotic graphic novels from Japan).
One of my friends sort of drug me into it (well, the fan-fiction, anyway!) my junior year of high school. I'd always been a bit more open to that sort of thing that most of the people in my school. It probably had a lot to do with my sister, who came out as a bisexual in high school, and my friends, many of whom were homosexual or bisexual. So my friend really didn't have to give me all that much of a push, haha. I embraced it completely because I could write something I loved and get continual feedback about my progress and my stories.
Sorry it's not a very profound answer, Honoria!
