To prove how much of an effervescent tease I happen to be, I'm building a board on my Pinterest account for "Genuine", that recently completed piece of mine! I'll add new pins to give you more little hints as I have the time! In the mean time, why don't you stroll on over and check it out...? Love you, my little koi fish! ~Lulu~ |

I know I haven't written to you in a while, my little koi fish, but between work and doctor's appointments, I haven't really had the time. So here's the long-short update, since I'm on a bit of a writer's high at the moment. Yes, I do have carpel tunnel syndrome.Yes, there's a lot more to it than that. I have carpel tunnel in my right wrist, but my doctor thinks it's mostly motions associated with my job that makes it flare up in achy or numbing ways. But I probably have it in both wrists, since I do get symptoms in both. For the most part right now, it's a little bothersome, but it will not be keeping me from writing. I am still writing. In point of fact, said writer's high comes from the piece I just finished and submitted called "Genuine". It is also for an anthology, but it's a "Daily Dose" (through Dreamspinner Press), which means a higher volume of submissions will be selected for it. Besides, it's been over a year since my last submission, so I needed to submit one. It's also my personal screw-you to my carpel tunnel. This little baby weighed in at over 5000 words and features a college professor named Talon and his student, Devlin. I'll keep you posted on whether or not it is selected and all that jazz, but for now, I'm content. I will continue to write. There's another anthology that I will be starting my piece for. This anthology focuses on blue collar working men, so my story will feature a sexy mechanic named Jeremiah and a businessman named Peter. This one isn't due in until September, so I will finish it before and get to put it in the hands of beta readers. If you would like to beta read this piece for me, feel free to leave a comment or contact me as you best know how. I'll also keep you updated on how this story and I wrestle. I am still working on the other pieces, too! I know some of you might have been anticipated the pieces I've mentioned here or my Samplings (which have lagged so badly; shame on me), and I want you to know that I am still working on all things Edana, Pale Moon, and Bookends. In fact, I have a new piece I'm working on for Edana that will show you a little more about how the other half lives (when they're not ending up with princes)... That pretty well sums it up, right?
Well, I have three more days off this week and I will be working hard to pound out at least one Sampling for you guys in that time, okay? Lots of love to you all, ~Lulu~ |
